For the past nine (9) years, Stone Oak Rotary (SORC) has been privileged to have the opportunity to support and encourage a new group of students each year. Our goal is to improve the wellness of the students, as well as boost school attendance, which will enable the faculty and staff to provide the educational support and guidance to hopefully a larger population and enhance the Rotary focus on Literacy.

SORC is proud to support for the Calendar School Year (10 months) at-risk (average School Ratings – 3/10) NEISD Elementary Schools (Walzem – 780 Students (9 Years), East Terrell Hills – 700 Students (7 Years) & Oak Grove Elementary - 410 Students (5 Years), in San Antonio, Texas.

SORC has made a commitment to donate to Walzem & East Terrell Hills and Oak Grove (22) twenty-two Bikes, helmets, and locks, (1) boys and (1) girls’ bike for each grade level, Pre-K - 5th grade for each school; Books for keepsake and "Essay Contests" (Bikes to the winners) to boost student Literacy; and "Poster Contests" (Soccer Balls to the winners), Fruit and Snow Cone Trucks, and Soccer Balls (for all students with Perfect Attendance at the end of the calendar school year)  to encourage “Perfect Attendance” to all three schools.
