We have joined with Dominion Rotary Club to assist with their UTSA Rotaract efforts for 2010-2011. As more progress develops, we will update this page.
Past History:
Rotaract is a Rotary-sponsored service club for young men and women ages 18 to 40. Our Rotaract club was university-based (St. Mary's University) and sponsored by STONE OAK ROTARY CLUB for two years, making it a true "partner in service" and key member of the Rotary family while it existed.
New Officers elected Wednesday, March 26, 2008: http://www.stoneoaksarotary.org/PhotoAlbum.cfm?AlbumID=3805&PhotoID=44371 2008 President: Elsa González (received our Scholarship) President-Elect: Antonio Villa Alcázar (2009 President) Vice President: Luis Miguel Macias Secretary: Ivonne García Treasurer: Erika Ibarra Public Relations: Monica Macias
Through the Rotaract program, young adults not only augment their knowledge and skills, but they also address the physical and social needs of their communities while promoting international understanding and peace through a framework of friendship and service.

Our university Rotaract Club did not make an application to St. Mary's for the 2007-2008 year and was not renewed. However,in March 2008, St. Mary's had help from Antonio "Toño" Villa, who held a few meetings in April & May 2008. Wayne Duncan, David Flack and Stephen Oliver worked with this group. Sadly, it still did not come together and was dormant 2008-2009. We are presently seeking another university.
