President David volunteers for SORC at Stone Oak Elementary and National School Lunch Week. Dr. Gordon with U.S. Oncology likes his Rotary seal in chocolate, presented by Treasurer and President Elect Nominee Rick Riely. SORC represented by President David Flack in the community with SAIPC,  held every three years in San Antonio for the past 25 years (Silver Anniversary). Also note District Governor Elect Stephanie Macchia is also a member. RYAN KOHNEN speaks on Multi-Generational Workforce; chocolate presented by President Elect Josh Loden. Sunrise and Stone Oak Rotary Clubs host a joint membership drive event at Perico's for October's Second Tuesday - SORC members Kent Kirkman, Maxine Watkins, and Lang Glotfelty on the right. ELEVEN GUESTS TOTAL for both clubs!
SORC President David Flack, Treasurer/PEN Rick Riely and Past President Bob Bordelon at Perico's joint event Second Tuesday with Sunrise Rotary Club. Dave Katz, President Sunrise Rotary addresses the joint membership event with Stone Oak Rotary; both clubs meet on Fridays (Sunrise at 7am at Perico's; Stone Oak at Noon at The Club at Sonterra) President David awards Jim Voeller after a stimulating discussion of Living Trusts President David with Andrea Lam of Australia (winner of Silver Medal) during Silver Anniversary of the San Antonio International Piano Competition (SAIPC). David Flack won a Silver Medal 45 years ago in the Joske Piano Competition. The William Bordelon signs have been installed!
According to TxDot, the signs are located on IH 37 Southbound, just south of IH 35, and 
on IH 37 Northbound just north of IH 10. These signs are in memory of Bob Bordelon's brother Bill (Medal of Honor Recipient).
Michal Moore was voted into office by the Board on Wednesday to replace outgoing Fran Carnot as Director-at-Large - President David presents her DIRECTOR pin His book tour ends with us ~ Ernie Carwile regaled us with his stories, and we appropriately donated a book in his name to Canyon Ridge Elementary School! Ernie is the author and creator of THE MAXWELL WINSTON STONE SERIES ~ www.ErnieCarwile.com  ~ 303-641-8632 Baptist Hospital has TWO teams for Heart Walk; President David presents $500 to the American Heart Assn., with a $250 check for each respective team, one headed by Sarah Bass, Service Projects Chair, and the other by Michal Moore, Co-Chair Public Relations and our new Director-at-Large.
