Ray Wenzel, Dean of Rotary U, presents the very first Masters of Rotary Science degree awarded in our club to president elect David Flack (David later rec'd his Doctor of Rotary Science on April 18th) Celia Belt-Jones of Kerrville, co-founder of the Moonlight Fund, addresses our club. She suffered burns over 34% of her body as a result of a childhood injury Celia has been serving the military and civilian community since 1998, providing assistance 24/7 through the Moonlight Fund 501c(3) for emotional and physical needs of burn survivors and burn or blast injury amputees. Lizette Ödfalk, 2006-2008 Member of ITHACA ROTARY CLUB in New York, and our STONE OAK ROTARY new member in January 2009, delivered a banner from her previous club.
Andres Puky provided his club banner.The red pagoda is connected to Ed and John Kanemoto, third generation Coloradoans and members of Andres' Longmont club for the last 28 years. Kanemoto Park showcases the Tower of Compassion,each level represents the meaning of compassion.
